Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the food safety management systems for the entire CPU.
• Conduct daily inspections in the facility to ensure compliance with FSMS standards.
• Provide guidance and support to the CPU team to ensure adherence to food safety protocols.
• Manage lab testing, create microbiological and organoleptic schedules, and analyze product testing reports.
• Monitor semi-finished and finished products before dispatching and highlight issues.
• Generate suggestions for continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
• Handle customer complaints related to food safety and quality, and prepare detailed reports.
• Ensure timely corrective and preventive actions are initiated by relevant departments.
• Coordinate with external service suppliers for timely and efficient service.
• Monitor and verify compliance with food safety logs.
• Ensure traceability of all finished products.
• Escalate maintenance issues to relevant teams.
• Conduct food transportation audits to ensure compliance.
• Conduct quarterly refresher training for staff and provide toolbox talks.
• Perform daily quality checks for compliance with INDPT standards.
• Ensure the food watch account is active and that inspections are performed.
• Attend third-party audits and support the CPU team in preparing CAR reports.
• Monitor cleaning activities in the CPU and guide cleaning supervisors.
• Draft checklists, policies, and procedures ensuring compliance with standards.
