Job summary

Tanqeeb in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a professional Trailer Driver to ensure safe, timely delivery of FMCG products across the UAE. You will operate heavy trailers in compliance with UAE road rules, manage temperature-controlled shipments, and maintain high safety and service standards.

Responsibilities include loading, unloading, performing pre-trip inspections, using GPS for efficient routing, and completing daily reports and PODs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience driving heavy vehicles.
• Proven track record of safe and efficient driving.
• Comprehensive understanding of traffic laws, road safety regulations, and heavy vehicle operational guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate company trailers safely to transport FMCG products to warehouses, distribution centres, distributors, customers and retail outlets across the UAE.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trailers and report any defects or required maintenance.
• Use GPS and route planning systems to optimize delivery times and fuel efficiency.
• Daily report & submit PODs, Trip Sheet, Vehicle Checklist and Over Time sheet to the Logistics office.
