The successful candidate will have 1 year of experience working with flowers and/or plants, and be passionate about creating beautiful arrangements. The job involves taking orders from customers, selecting fresh flowers and plants for displays, arranging them to create attractive bouquets and other floral displays, stocking shelves with flowers and other merchandise, ensuring displays are kept neat and tidy at all times, helping customers select suitable products for their needs, packaging floral purchases, maintaining stock levels and keeping the work area clean. During busy periods the Florist will be required to work additional hours. The successful candidate must be able to work well as part of a team but also independently when necessary. They must have excellent customer service skills as they will be interacting with customers on a daily basis. A knowledge of basic floristry techniques is essential as is the ability to multi-task and pay attention to detail. We are prepared to consider applications from foreign candidates who can demonstrate their suitability for the position. The salary offered is 1600 per month.
