Overview

Florist - Jabal-Ali, UAE (Malayalee Preferred)

We are looking for a skilled florist to join our team in Jabal-Ali, UAE. The successful candidate should have experience in creating floral arrangements and possess a keen eye for detail. This is a contract job with visa sponsorship but without accommodation. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently as well as part of a team, have excellent customer service skills, and be able to handle customers’ inquiries professionally. The candidate must possess strong creative skills and be able to come up with unique floral designs that meet customers’ needs. They should stay abreast of new trends to create the most appealing designs possible.

Note: Malayalee preferred and fluency in English is not required.

Responsibilities

• Create attractive floral arrangements according to customer requirements
• Ensure quality of flowers by inspecting them for freshness and discarding wilted or damaged ones
• Provide advice on flower selection, color combinations, and seasonal suggestions as required
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area at all times
• Receive orders from customers over the phone or in person
• Process payments and issue receipts
• Keep accurate records of sales transactions and prepare daily reports
• Train new staff when required
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor
