Reap HR Consultancy is seeking a Food Runner for a cafe client in Dubai to deliver meals from kitchen to dining areas, ensure proper presentation and temperature, and support staff for timely service.

The ideal candidate has 13+ years in food running or frontline hospitality, excellent guest focus, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with a valid UAE visa or eligibility to obtain one. A passion for hospitality excellence in a fast-paced setting is essential.

Qualifications

• 13 years of proven experience in a food runner or frontline hospitality role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-focused mindset.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move quickly across the dining area.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid UAE visa and work permit (or eligibility to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Accurately and promptly deliver food from the kitchen to assigned dining tables.
• Maintain proper food presentation and temperature during transport using appropriate carrying equipment.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to confirm order details and delivery timelines.
• Ensure all table areas are cleared and reset efficiently between guest visits.
• Adhere to health safety and hygiene standards at all times during food handling and delivery.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized service area including the kitchen pass and dining floor.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and elevate issues to supervisors when necessary.
• Support team members during peak hours and assist with special events or high-volume service periods.
• Demonstrate professionalism courtesy and a positive attitude at all times.
