Job summary

EY is seeking a Tax Policy Senior Consultant to join its MENA Tax Policy team. You will work on complex engagements and drive growth within the ITTS practice, translating policy objectives into practical recommendations for clients in a global context.

The role focuses on supporting governments and policy makers to strengthen tax policies, with emphasis on tax law, policy analysis, and clear written deliverables for senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in economics, finance, tax or accounting.
• At least four years of relevant experience as a Tax professional.
• Big 4 experience preferred; governmental or international firms considered.
• Strong knowledge of domestic and international tax rules and tax authority practices.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and interact with senior stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities, including drafting technical memos and policy papers.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic guidance on the development of tax policy, by reference to best practice and regulatory trends internationally.
• Support tax and revenue administrations in effectively implementing tax and revenue policies.
• Support governments with their strategy and engagement on international tax initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (legal, finance, economics, public policy) to deliver integrated solutions.
• Prepare and present insights in a clear and compelling manner.
