Job summary

Avanta Works in El-Fujairah, UAE, is seeking a First Class Sailor with at least 3 years of experience on large vessels to join our crew. You will assist navigation, maintenance and safety of our vessel, working closely with the Captain and other crew members to ensure smooth operations.

You will participate in chart plotting, route planning, drills, fuel monitoring and living quarters maintenance, with duties across the ship's systems.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid First Class Sailor certificate or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a sailor on large vessels.
• Strong understanding of maritime operations, navigation techniques, and safety procedures.

First Class Sailor

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced First Class Sailor to join our team in El-Fujairah. Our company is looking for a dedicated and reliable individual who is passionate about sailing and has a strong understanding of maritime operations. As a First Class Sailor, you will be responsible for assisting with the navigation, maintenance and safety of our vessel. You will also be expected to work closely with the Captain and other crew members to ensure the smooth operation of the ship.

• Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Urdu is a plus)
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Salary

We offer a competitive salary package starting at $1300 per month for this position.

Location

This position is based in El-Fujairah, UAE. We welcome applications from qualified candidates of Pakistani nationality.

Accommodation

This is a full-time position without accommodation provided. Candidates must be able to arrange their own housing in El-Fujairah.
