Job summary

NAFFCO is seeking a proactive AutoCAD Draftsman specializing in Fire Fighting Systems to join our engineering team in Dubai. You will design and document fire protection layouts, collaborate with engineers and sales, and help translate technical concepts into clear drawings for stakeholders.

The role combines drafting excellence with client interaction, site surveys, and continuous improvement of drawing standards.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, CAD Design, or related field.
• Previous AutoCAD draughting experience, preferably in fire fighting systems.
• Familiarity with NFPA and BS EN standards for fire protection systems.
• Exposure to client-facing selling or proposal support is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed AutoCAD drawings for fire protection systems.
• Revise and maintain technical documentation across project stages.
• Collaborate with engineers, sales, and project managers on technical needs.
• Participate in site surveys to collect data for drafting.
• Present drawings and solutions to clients to aid sales.
• Maintain drawing registers and version control.
