Job summary

QatarYello is seeking a senior Legal Counsel to lead debt recovery and oversee litigation across the UAE. You will manage external counsel, draft and negotiate commercial and financing agreements, and advise on lending and trade finance matters.

You will support market entries, licensing, and corporate structuring initiatives while partnering with cross-functional teams to mitigate risk and implement practical legal solutions. Arabic fluency is mandatory for this position.

Responsibilities

• Lead debt recovery, collections, and pre-litigation activities across the UAE.
• Manage external counsel and oversee claims, enforcement, and litigation matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial, lending, and financing agreements.
• Advise the business on lending, trade finance, credit, and day-to-day commercial legal matters.
• Support new market entries, licensing activities, and corporate structuring initiatives.
• Partner with commercial, product, and operational teams to identify risks and deliver practical legal solutions.
• Develop legal processes, governance frameworks, and policies while monitoring regulatory developments.
• Fluent Arabic is mandatory for this position.
