Job summary

Property Maintenance Company in the UAE is seeking a Financial Controller to build and lead a robust financial control environment for a small multi-entity group operating in the UAE and UK. You will own consolidation, drive month-end reporting and establish strong controls while guiding a growing finance team.

The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant with 5–10 years of progressive finance experience, strong IFRS, VAT and tax knowledge, and a hands-on approach to building systems.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA or CMA).
• 5–10 years of progressive finance experience including leading a finance function or team.
• Strong technical grounding — IFRS, UAE VAT and Corporate Tax, multi-entity consolidation.
• Owned month-end and built reporting from scratch, not just maintained an existing pack.
• Comfortable in a business where the systems are still being built — you would rather build them properly than inherit them finished.
• Experience in maintenance, MEP, facilities management, construction or another project-based technical services business is a strong advantage
• You understand project accounting, job costing and contract-level
• You want to build a finance function, not administer one someone else already built.
• You get satisfaction from turning a messy multi-entity picture into one clean, trusted number.
• You want real ownership — of the numbers, the team, and the systems behind them.
