Job Summary
World Travel Holdings is hiring a remote Financial Analyst in the United States to support financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making. The position focuses on analyzing corporate performance metrics, building financial models, maintaining budgeting software systems, and communicating financial results to executive leadership and business stakeholders.
Primary Duties
- Draft and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance reports for senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
- Conduct variance analyses comparing actual financial results against budgets, forecasts, and historical performance.
- Build ad hoc financial models and quantitative analyses to evaluate strategic initiatives and operational trends.
- Coordinate the annual budgeting cycle by managing timelines, compiling inputs, and validating departmental assumptions.
- Maintain planning platforms (e.g., Adaptive Planning, Anaplan) to ensure data accuracy and workflow efficiency.
- Conduct cash flow modeling and reporting to inform liquidity planning and capital allocation decisions.
- Identify process improvements in data collection, reporting structures, and financial analysis frameworks.
Skills & Experience Required
- Educational Credentials: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Work Background: 3+ years of corporate finance, FP&A, accounting, or investment banking experience; prior exposure to private equity‑backed environments is preferred.
- Technical Mastery: Advanced MS Excel capabilities (financial modeling, complex formulas, data analysis); experience with planning tools (Adaptive Planning, Anaplan) and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage.
- Location Requirements: Remote, United States.
- Core Competencies: Financial forecasting, variance analysis, budget consolidation, cash flow reporting, and executive communication.
