Job summary

Chalhoub Group in Dubai is seeking a Finance trainee to support the team with month-end closings, data consolidation and reporting in a fast-paced retail environment. This role offers hands-on exposure to core finance operations while developing analytical skills.

Under the Finance team's guidance, you will build Excel-based reports, assist with presentations and data trackers, and help maintain accurate financial data while contributing to process improvements and learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of finance and accounting principles.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle data accurately.
• Well-organized with the ability to manage tasks efficiently.
• Motivated, proactive, and eager to learn within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the month-end closing process, including reconciliations and data validation.
• Assist in preparing financial reports, presentations, and consolidated data trackers.
• Support financial monitoring and reporting activities using Excel and PowerPoint.
• Help organize and maintain accurate financial data with strong attention to detail.
• Assist the team with day-to-day finance coordination and ad-hoc reporting tasks.
• Contribute to ongoing finance initiatives and process improvements where needed.
