Job summary

Zohorecruit in the UAE is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead finance and accounting operations within an electric contracting and infrastructure setting. The role focuses on project-based P&L, cash flow management, and regulatory compliance.

You will manage the accounting team, oversee VAT, LC and supplier credit facilities, and provide strategic support to senior management. Proficiency in Zoho is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance required; higher degree or certification advantageous.
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on accounting/finance experience, UAE experience preferred.
• Strong background in infrastructure projects and project-based P&L management.
• Experience leading a finance team and managing supplier credit relations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Oversee computerized accounting systems, with mandatory experience in Zoho.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports to support business planning.
• Handle monthly and yearly P&L and balance sheets for project-based financials.
• Ensure VAT calculations, filing, and reporting compliance.
• Manage letters of credit, bank guarantees, and supplier credit facilities.
• Strengthen relations with suppliers and financial institutions.
• Supervise accounts receivable and ensure timely collections.
• Participate in financial decision-making and support senior management.
• Provide insights to improve financial performance and efficiency.
