Job summary

A multinational corporation in Dubai is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial processes and ensure precise monthly closures for the Middle East subsidiary. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA/ACCA/CA certification, and at least 8 years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of IFRS and excellent communication skills are essential. This role involves preparing financial statements, developing accounting policies, and supervising audits, contributing significantly to the financial management of the subsidiary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of progressive experience in finance, preferably in multinational corporations or listed companies.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and local tax regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the monthly closing of the regional departments' accounts.
  • Prepare financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Assist in completing the audit of overseas subsidiaries.

Finance Manager
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the monthly closing of the Middle East subsidiary and regional departments, ensure the timely closing of subsidiary' accounts, relevant income recording, costs and expenses of the departments, and ensure the timely submission of reports of the overseas regional departments.
  • Undertake the financial BP work, provide financial support to the business team, and for cross - departmental, organize the process review and formulate relevant control systems.
  • Prepare the financial statements of the Middle East subsidiary on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis and conduct financial statement analysis, and perform the functions of financial management and supervision.
  • Promote and improve the digitalization of accounting.
  • Participate in development and improvement of uniform accounting policies within the Group.
  • Participate in analysising performance indicators of the Middle East subsidiary.
  • Assist the head office in completing the audit of overseas subsidiaries and overseas regional departments, and supervise the local audit work of overseas subsidiaries.
  • Other tasks are assigned from time to time.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA, ACCA, or CA certification preferred.
  • At least 8 years of progressive experience in finance, preferably in multinational corporations or listed companies.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and local tax regulations, with experience in audit, tax, and treasury functions.
  • Strong financial analysis and budgeting skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems.
  • Excellent cross-cultural communication skills and ability to lead and optimize a local finance team.
