Job summary

ApplyMint in Sharjah, UAE is seeking a Head of Finance to lead the entire finance function. You will oversee AP/AR, banking, cash flow, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in a fast-moving FMCG distribution business.

The role requires strong UAE experience in FMCG, VAT compliance, audits, and end-to-end controls, with the ability to coordinate with auditors, banks, suppliers, and internal teams to drive financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (or related field).
• Minimum 5 years UAE experience in FMCG distribution or related sector.
• End-to-end knowledge of AP, AR, banking, VAT, audits, and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete finance function, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, banking, cash flow, and financial reporting.
• Oversee VAT, tax compliance, audits, month-end/year-end closing, and statutory requirements.
• Monitor financial controls, reconciliations, budgets, and overall financial performance.
• Coordinate with internal departments, auditors, banks, suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders on finance-related matters.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting
