Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning & Analysis:

    • Assist in the preparation, consolidation and review of the annual budget.

    • Develop financial forecasts and variance analyses to support strategic planning.

  • Reporting & Compliance:

    • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with local and international accounting standards.

    • Ensure compliance with government regulations, internal policies and statutory requirements.

  • Accounting & Financial Operations:

    • Oversee general ledger entries, account reconciliations and monitor cash flow operations.

    • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to support financial audits.

  • Process Improvement:

    • Identify areas for process optimization and implement best practices to enhance financial efficiency.

    • Use advanced software and financial tools to streamline reporting activities.

  • Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Liaise with various departments, senior management and government bodies to deliver clear and relevant financial information.

    • Participate in special projects and strategic initiatives that reinforce the financial department’s objectives.

Requirements
  • Educational Background:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certification such as CPA or CFA is a plus).

  • Professional Experience:

    • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a finance role, preferably within a government or large corporate setting.

    • Experience working in a structured regulatory environment that values accountability and transparency.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

    • Strong analytical, quantitative and data interpretation skills.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.

    • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented and culturally diverse environment.
