Job Description: As a Finance Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the finance department with financial planning, analysis, and reporting. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Financial Analysis: Conducting in-depth analysis of financial data, including revenue, expenses, and cash flow, to identify trends and insights.
  2. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
  3. Variance Analysis: Analyzing variances between actual financial performance and budgeted/forecasted figures, identifying key drivers and recommending corrective actions.
  4. Financial Reporting: Generating and presenting financial reports to management, highlighting key findings and providing actionable insights.
  5. Cost Analysis: Analyzing product costs, pricing strategies, and profitability to support decision-making and optimize financial performance.
  6. Ad-Hoc Analysis: Performing ad-hoc financial analysis and supporting special projects/initiatives as assigned by management.
  7. Compliance: Ensuring compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements in all financial activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis or related roles, preferably in the FMCG industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.
