Job summary

MIRA CONSTRUCTION L.L.C is seeking a detail-oriented Land Surveyor Assistant to support our surveying team on construction sites. You will assist in measurements, data collection, and maintaining surveying equipment to ensure accurate progress.

Responsibilities include operating instruments, preparing survey data and sketches, and coordinating with engineers. A high school diploma is required; a surveying diploma is a plus. Willingness to work outdoors and in varying weather is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Diploma in surveying or related field is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of surveying principles and equipment.
• Familiarity with survey software and tools (AutoCAD, GPS devices) is advantageous.
• Good attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions; effective communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist land surveyors with measurement and data collection on construction sites.
• Operate and maintain surveying instruments and equipment.
• Record and prepare survey data, sketches, and reports.
• Ensure all survey measurements comply with project specifications and regulatory standards.
• Support in the preparation of topographic maps and construction layout plans.
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to provide accurate survey information.
• Maintain equipment inventory and report any malfunctions or required repairs.
