Job summary

DEWA looks for a physically fit Meter Reader to visit residential neighborhoods in Dubai, record digital power consumption, and report broken equipment. You will also be expected to answer basic billing questions when homeowners come outside to talk to you.

Typical duties include carefully reading digital meters, entering exact numbers into a handheld tablet, and driving a small utility van through narrow villa streets while ensuring safety and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Must accurately read digital meters and enter exact figures into the handheld device.
• Maintain safe driving practices while navigating residential streets.
• Identify issues such as leaks or faulty equipment and report to repair teams promptly.
• Be able to address basic billing questions when homeowners inquire.
