As a member of BeOne MENA organization, the Field Medical Advisor will support local strategies and establish compliant relationships with opinion leaders, research collaborators and key organizations in support of the BeOne pipeline development across all therapeutic areas.

This position will require pre-launch and post-launch Medical Affairs support for oncology pipeline development. The incumbent will work closely with internal colleagues in medical affairs, clinical development, program leadership, clinical operations, legal, compliance, new product planning, safety / pharmacovigilance, molecular diagnostics, translational research and other cross‑functional business partners.

The Field Medical Advisor will support BeOne pre‑clinical and clinical pipeline development by coordinating external collaborations, research endeavors with heath care providers and external academicians. He / She will play a key role in the establishment of BeOne as a valued collaborator and best‑in‑class biopharmaceutical company.

The position has a scope of Gulf countries (UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman & Bahrain)

This position reports to the MENA Medical Director and will be based in Dubai, UAE.

Essential Functions of the Job

Serve as BeOne expert in the assigned therapy area / s.

Provide education to the medical communities on BeOne products and disease areas of focus.

Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop and efficiently execute medical plans designed to meet shared objectives.

Facilitate BeOne responses to unsolicited requests for medical information, often in direct collaboration with BeOne Medical Information Services personnel.

Develop tactics for communicating complex scientific information to the healthcare communities.

Provide impactful feedback / information to internal stakeholders on emerging clinical and scientific trends from external interactions to help shape company research, and to ensure the safe and appropriate use of BeOne products.

Build specific excellence and integrity within the healthcare communities.

Develop contacts with key clinicians, university teaching hospitals, group purchase organizations and other medical / scientific groups.

Develop speakers through one-on‑one clinical training on approved clinical slide sets.

Act as a clinical resource with professional and advocacy organizations with the objective of developing relationships and identifying potential business opportunities.

Assist in the development and execution of clinically relevant regional medical meetings (e.g. advisory boards, consultancy and investigator meetings), as requested

Manage a significant volume of projects developed in a field‑based environment, while demonstrating the ability to prioritize, excellence in execution.

Optimizes the patient centricity of medical communications and deliverables, to ensure that patients remain the point of focus.

To develop and maintain ongoing role model cross‑functional working relationships with BeOne colleagues Locally, Regionally & through the Global organization.

Identification and verification of investigators and sites for company‑sponsored clinical trials

Serve as the primary territory liaison for the submission and review of Investigator - Research proposals, facilitating the process from concept submission through publication and uncover scientific data that may have the potential for publication and / or abstract presentation.

Experience

Existing experience in Medical Affairs within other biotech / pharmaceutical companies.

Solid experience in Oncology is a must.

Awareness of pharmaceutical industry codes, policies and local regulations.

Medical Affairs experience in Gulf is preferred.

Minimum 2+ years of related experience is required

Strong comprehension of disease states, and knowledge of differential algorithms for treatment decisions and experience in disease states of interest to BeOne, as well as the ability to communicate large amounts of scientific information in a clear and concise manner

An expert understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, the country healthcare system, regional cancer care models and the impact of positive change on patient care

Able to lead training initiatives and innovatively create best practices.

Can be depended on to rapidly adopt and utilize new digital technology and other resources with medical customers and record medical interactions

Strong time management and organizational skills.

This role has no direct reports.

Computer Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Experienced with electronic CRM systems

High level of English communication (written and verbal)

Travel

Work‑related travel required within Gulf as well as participation in major congresses. This role is field based, 80% of the time required to be in the field.
