Job summary

Woopel in Abu Dhabi is seeking a diligent Dishwasher to join our busy kitchen team. You will wash dishes by hand or with a machine, maintain sanitation, and help with basic prep in a fast-paced environment.

This is a contract position based in Abu Dhabi with no accommodation provided; candidates already located in Abu Dhabi and fluent in English are preferred. Salary is around $1,500 per month.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience working as a dishwasher in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.
• Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans by hand or using a dishwasher.
• Ensure all dishes are properly cleaned and sanitized according to company standards.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
• Take out trash and maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling vegetables or washing fruits.
• Follow all health code regulations and safety protocols.
• Maintain inventory of dishwashing supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed.
