Job summary

The Liners Investment LLC in Abu Dhabi is seeking a creative Fashion Designer to lead menswear collection development while supporting other fashion categories. You will research trends, create concepts, mood boards, sketches, and presentations, and design T-shirts, shirts, trousers, shorts, outerwear, and accessories.

Collaboration with sourcing, production, marketing, and retail teams is essential to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fashion design with menswear is preferred.
• Strong garment construction knowledge and fit understanding.
• Solid portfolio demonstrating relevant design projects.

Responsibilities

• Research trends, fabrics, colors, silhouettes, and market developments.
• Create concepts, mood boards, sketches, and collection presentations.
• Design menswear pieces (tees, shirts, trousers, outerwear, and accessories).
• Support other product categories when needed.
• Prepare tech drawings, colorways, fabrics, and specifications.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers through sampling and production.
• Review samples and provide feedback on fit, construction, fabric, color, and finishing.
• Attend fittings and implement design adjustments.
• Ensure products reflect brand identity and quality standards.
• Collaborate with creative, marketing, production, and retail teams.
• Follow production timelines to complete collections on schedule.

We are looking for a creative and detail oriented Fashion Designer to join our team. The role will mainly focus on developing menswear collections while also supporting other fashion categories and creative projects when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Research fashion trends, fabrics, colours, silhouettes, and market developments.
• Create original concepts, mood boards, sketches, and collection presentations.
• Design menswear pieces, including T-shirts, shirts, trousers, shorts, outerwear, and accessories.
• Support the design of other product categories when needed.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, colourways, and fabric selections.
• Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers throughout sampling and production.
• Review samples and provide clear feedback on fit, construction, fabric, colour, and finishing.
• Attend fittings and make the necessary design adjustments.
• Ensure every product reflects the brand's identity, quality standards, and target customer.
• Collaborate with the creative, marketing, production, and retail teams.
• Follow production timelines and help ensure collections are completed on schedule.

Requirements

• Previous experience in fashion design, preferably with menswear experience.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, sizing, and fit.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, CLO 3D, Procreate, Techpacker and CorelDraw.
• Ability to create technical drawings and communicate clearly with suppliers.
• Strong creativity, attention to detail, and awareness of current fashion trends.
• Good organization and time management skills.
• A strong portfolio showing relevant fashion design work.

• The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of menswear but is versatile and comfortable contributing to different collections and fashion related projects.
