Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up for patients across all ages.
• Manage acute and chronic conditions in a primary care setting.
• Conduct routine health assessments, preventive screenings and wellness consultations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide medical education.
• Manage common family medicine conditions including diabetes, hypertension, respiratory illnesses and infections.
• Promote preventive care and healthy lifestyle practices.
• Refer to specialists when needed and coordinate continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate medical records per hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care.
• Participate in quality improvement, clinical governance and patient safety initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations and professional standards.

• Manage common family medicine conditions including diabetes, hypertension, respiratory illnesses, infections, and other chronic diseases.
• Promote preventive healthcare and healthy lifestyle practices.
• Refer patients to appropriate specialists when required and coordinate continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
• Work collaboratively with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement, clinical governance, and patient safety initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations and professional standards.

Requirements

• MD/MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
• Specialty qualification in Family Medicine recognized by the relevant UAE health authority.
• Valid DOH/DHA/MOHAP license or eligibility, as applicable.
• Relevant post-specialization clinical experience in Family Medicine/Primary Care.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a diverse patient population independently.
• Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
