Job summary

Sobha Constructions LLC invites a skilled Facade Engineer to oversee design and installation of facade systems on our projects in Dubai. You will supervise activities, ensure drawings and specifications are followed, and coordinate with consultants and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate holds a civil/structural/mechanical engineering degree, with 4+ years in facade engineering, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino and Grasshopper, plus a solid grasp of building physics and moisture

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Min 4 years of experience specifically in facade engineering or facade design.
Proficiency in facade design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper) and structural analysis tools.

Responsibilities

Supervise and execute facade installation activities per drawings and specs.
Manage ACP Aluminum Composite Panel cladding installations.
Oversee panel fixation works, bracket installation, and support systems.
Coordinate and monitor glass and aluminum facade installation activities.
Ensure site works are executed in accordance with approved shop drawings and method statements.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, site supervisors, and subcontractors for smooth project execution.
Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
Resolve technical and installation issues related to facade systems.
Monitor material requirements, site progress, and manpower productivity.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality objectives.
