Job summary

Georgfischer in United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi) seeks a skilled fabrication technician to produce piping products from HDPE, ECTFE, PVDF and other plastics. You will interpret drawings, select appropriate fabrication methods, and ensure products meet specifications with precision.

The role requires 2+ years of plastic piping fabrication experience, teamwork, and good verbal English. You will work on-site in Abu Dhabi, contributing to safe operations and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years fabrication experience in plastic piping.
• Experience with plastic pipes and fittings fabrication.
• Able to read drawings and pipe specification documents.
• Capable of meeting deadlines and working in a team.
• Good creative skills and verbal English.

Responsibilities

• Understand drawings and fabricate piping products by Butt Fusion, Electro Fusion, Infra-Red Welding, Sidewall Fusion, Socket Fusion, Extrusion welding and Cementing methods respectively.
• Monitor and ensure effective output from machines, shopfloor work locations and fabricators.
• Maintain all production documentations.
• Ensure and safe operations of Machines, Bandsaws, other power tools.
• Responsible for cutting all pipes, hollow bars, solid rods and sheets in required angle, length and alignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Understanding the drawings and Fabrication of HDPE, ECTFE, PVDF, PPH, PPR, PVC piping products by Butt Fusion, Electro Fusion, Infra-Red Welding, Sidewall Fusion, Socket Fusion, Extrusion welding and Cementing methods respectively.

Your profile

• Minimum 2 years relevant fabrication work experience preferably plastic pipes and fittings in construction or manufacturing environment
• Fabrication works experience in plastic pipes and fittings environment.
• Ability to understand pipes and fittings specification drawings.
• Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.
• Good creative skill
• Acceptable English verbal communication
