Job summary

ADEAREST is seeking skilled Metal Fabricators in Abu Dhabi to read drawings, measure and mark sheet metal, and fabricate frames and components for doors from extruded profiles. You will craft templates, perform mitre and bevel cuts, weld preparations, and finish edges with grinding and polishing.

You will also carry out quality checks with set-squares and calipers, maintain a clean, safe work area, and stand for long periods while delivering high‑precision metalwork on time.

Qualifications

• Read and understand the work order and drawings provided.
• Precisely measure and mark the sheet metal for bending and profiles for cutting.
• Make templates, jigs and fixtures to speed up repetitive jobs.
• Perform mitre cutting and bevel cutting on bent steel profiles using machines and hand tools; prepare edges for welding.
• Finish welded areas by grinding, buffing and final polishing.
• Carry out quality checks using set-squares, levels and other measuring tools to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Follow safety procedures and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Must have good stamina and be able to perform physical labour for prolonged periods.

Job description

We are looking for Metal Fabricators who can read drawings, measure, cut, bend, and assemble extruded and bent thin metal profiles into frames and components of metal doors.

Skills & Expertise required

• Read & understand the work order and drawings provided.
• Precisely measure & mark the sheet metal for bending and bended profiles for cutting.
• Make necessary templates, jigs and fixtures that are needed to make repetitive jobs easier and faster.
• Perform mitre cutting and bevel cutting on bended steel profiles using machine and hand tools and prepare the cut edges to precise specifications to match properly so that the joints can be welded smoothly.
• Finish the welded area by grinding, buffing and final polishing.
• Carry out quality checks on the work carried out by using set-squares, levels and other measuring tools to confirm that all parts are manufactured to specifications.
• Follow the safety procedures and protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Must have good stamina and ability to perform physical labour, including standing for prolonged periods.
