Job summary

Le Méridien is seeking a Guest Service Expert to deliver memorable dining experiences in our Dubai location. You will set tables, coordinate with kitchen staff, interact with guests, and maintain cleanliness and supplies to support seamless service.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and less than 1 year of related experience. A professional appearance and strong communication are essential for this role.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set tables and assist guests during meals.
• Communicate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Interact with and serve guests, maintaining a high level of service.
• Clean work areas and manage supplies to maintain hygiene and organization.
• Read and verify menu information and assist with menu presentation.
• Perform hands-on tasks such as lifting and moving items up to 25 lb without assistance and up to 50 lb with assistance.

Guest Service Experts will be on their feet and moving around (stand, sit, or walk for an extended time; moving over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces), managing the menu (read and visually verify information), and taking a hands‑on approach to work (move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and 50 pounds with assistance; reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping). Doing all these things well (and other reasonable job duties as requested) is critical for Guest Service Experts – to get it right for our guests and our business each and every time.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: Less than 1 year related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None
