Job summary

EY is hiring for EYP Financial Due Diligence - Senior (Emirati Nationals) in Dubai. You will collaborate with seasoned professionals, handling due diligence for private equity and corporate buyers and may travel within the MENA region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting and/or related major.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably with due diligence exposure.
• Able to analyze financial and non-financial information to form views and conclusions.
• Strong analytical, presentation and report writing skills.

The opportunity

You will collaborate with experienced due diligence professionals, gaining skills across sectors and opportunities for travel within MENA. As you progress, you'll handle complex transactions, lead teams, and build client relationships at EY.

Your key responsibilities

As an executive in the Transaction Diligence team, you will engage in due diligence for private equity and corporate buyers, analyzing financial and operational results of target companies. You will collaborate with your team, ensuring quality, sharing responsibilities, and keeping senior members updated on progress.

Skills and attributes for success

Individuals with strong analytical skills will flourish in this environment as you will regularly assist in researching technical accounting issues to evaluate implications on transaction valuation and structuring and prepare analyses of financial information to assess trends and fluctuations. Good communication skills will also be a key attribute for success within this role as you will be required to assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and develop and maintain productive working relationships with clients.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting and/or related major.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably with previous due diligence exposure and/ or strong audit expereince will be preferable.
• Able to analyze financial and non-financial information to formulate views and conclusions.
• Strong analytical, presentation and report writing skills
