Job summary

GEMS Royal Dubai School is seeking dynamic EYFS and Primary teachers to join a high-performing, premium British curriculum school in Dubai. You will deliver high-quality teaching that inspires curiosity and builds confidence across early years and primary classes.

The successful candidate will hold UK QTS, have strong knowledge of the National Curriculum/EYFS and a proven record of securing strong student outcomes. Roles involve supporting a growing, multi-site school community.

Qualifications

• Recognised UK teaching qualification with QTS.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum / Early Years Foundation Stage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching within EYFS or Primary, inspiring curiosity and progress.
• Plan and deliver innovative teaching, collaborating with colleagues and sharing best practice.
• Use assessment data to personalise learning and maximise student progress.
• Support welfare, wellbeing and development of every student.
• Build positive relationships with students, parents and staff.
• Contribute to school culture and extracurricular programmes.
• Engage in continuous professional learning and apply new knowledge to practice.
• Undertake other duties as directed by the Principal.

Job Purpose

To be responsible for a EYFS or primary class, delivering high-quality teaching that inspires curiosity, builds confidence and leads to exceptional outcomes and progress for every student.

Skills Description

Key Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Demonstrate secure and up-to-date knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage or the National Curriculum for England within the Primary Phase
• Plan and deliver consistently high-quality, innovative teaching and learning, while collaborating with colleagues and sharing effective practice
• Use assessment information and student data effectively to personalise learning, address individual needs and maximise progress
• Model a high-performance mindset through reflective practice, resilience and a consistently solution-focused approach within a culture of high expectations
