Job summary

JobCenter in Sharjah is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have welding and fabrication experience and a commitment to quality workmanship in a fast-paced shop.

The role requires the ability to read blueprints accurately, work independently or in a team, and follow safety and process standards to deliver precise welds and reliable fabrication results for ongoing projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of welding and fabrication experience.
• Ability to read blueprints accurately.
• Knowledge of welding principles, techniques, tools, materials, and processes.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual or semiautomatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, SMAW, etc.
• Perform layout work by measuring and marking the metals before performing the welds according to blueprints or specifications provided by engineers or supervisors.
• Inspecting completed work pieces for conformance with specifications, using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers etc.
• Maintaining records of work performed on project sheets or other documentation forms as required by the company management system.
