Job summary

Woopel in Abu-Dhabi is seeking an experienced Teacher to deliver the highest quality of education at our school. The successful candidate will develop lesson plans, monitor student progress and maintain a safe, engaging classroom environment.

We require a Bachelor’s degree in Education, and a teaching certification is preferred. Previous teaching experience is valued. Foreigners are welcome to apply. The salary offered is 1600 per month.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education is required.
• Teaching certification or license is preferred.
• Previous teaching experience is preferred.
• Ability to manage a classroom and promote positive behavior among students.

Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans and classroom activities that meet the curriculum guidelines
• Prepare student progress reports and maintain records of students’ development
• Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units and projects
• Monitor student achievement and provide appropriate feedback
• Provide guidance to students on how to improve their comprehension, writing, math and other skills
• Maintain a safe learning environment within the classroom
• Engage parents in the teaching process to ensure maximum student success
• Participate in school events as required
