Job summary

Ecojob is seeking an experienced Plumber based in Abu-Dhabi to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, ensuring projects are completed safely and on schedule.

Applicants should have 2+ years of plumber experience, be familiar with local codes, and able to read blueprints. A high school diploma is required, with an Associate's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of proven plumbing experience.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations for plumbing.
• Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings.
• Familiarity with water supply systems (hot & cold) and related components.
• Strong problem-solving skills and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair water supply systems, pipes, fixtures, pumps and valves.
• Install or replace fixtures such as sinks and water heaters.
• Diagnose plumbing issues via inspection and using gauges or cameras.
• Identify pipe blockages with plumbing snakes or specialized tools.
• Repair burst pipes by replacing damaged sections.
• Unblock drains using augers or hydro-jetting equipment.
• Repair leaking taps by replacing O-rings or washers.
• Test pipe systems for leaks with pressure gauges or pumps.
• Ensure all installations comply with local building codes and regulations.
