Job summary

Jing Hau in Abu-Dhabi is seeking an experienced Painter to join our team. This position is open to all candidates and we are ready to consider an immigrant. The salary will be 1,500 AED per month.

Duties include preparing surfaces, mixing paints, applying coats, hanging wallpaper, estimating materials, and cleaning up after completion.

Qualifications: 2+ years UAE experience preferred; good knowledge of paints and varnishes; ability to work independently; physically fit; strong communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Painter in the UAE is preferred.
• Good knowledge of different types of paints, wallpapers, varnishes etc.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must have good physical condition with ability to stand on ladders for extended periods of time.
• Exceptional communication skills with great attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Preparing the walls and other surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling cracks and holes, and sanding them.
• Mixing colors or oils to obtain desired colors or shades.
• Applying coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate and protect interior or exterior surfaces of buildings or other structures.
• Hanging wallpaper, applying fabric accents, cleaning walls to ensure proper adherence of paint.
• Estimating the cost of materials and time required for a job.
• Cleaning up after work completion.
