Job summary

Work standard in Khalifah A City, UAE is seeking an experienced Optometrist to perform comprehensive eye examinations and provide treatment recommendations to patients.

The successful candidate will hold a degree in optometry (or related field), current optometry certification, and fluent English. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality eye care and educate patients on proper vision care.

Qualifications

• Degree in optometry or a related field
• Knowledge of ophthalmology procedures and techniques
• Proven track record of providing excellent patient care
• Ability to work well with a team
• Current certification in optometry
• Fluency in English is essential
• Willingness to consider an immigrant is preferred

Responsibilities

• Examine patients’ eyes using detailed diagnostic tests, specialized instruments, and other equipment
• Analyze test results to diagnose vision problems or illnesses such as farsightedness and astigmatism
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, medications, or other vision treatments as necessary
• Educate patients on proper vision care such as how to insert and remove contacts lenses safely or how to properly clean eyeglasses.
• Monitor patients’ progress over time to identify any changes in their vision health
