Job summary

Unknown Company in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Mason to construct walls, floors and buildings using bricks, blocks and stones. You will read blueprints, measure and cut materials, and lay foundations in accordance with plans.

Requirements include at least 1 year of masonry experience, ability to read specifications, and physical fitness to lift heavy materials. Visa and airfare are provided; accommodation is not offered. Students with relevant experience are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Proficient in reading blueprints and understanding specifications.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints or drawings to determine specifications.
• Cut or shape materials to required sizes.
• Lay out patterns or foundations according to plans.
• Mix and spread mortar or other adhesives.
• Align materials with plumb lines or levels.
• Use hand tools and equipment to smooth surfaces and remove excess materials.
• Install insulation or vapor barriers.
• Repair or replace damaged bricks or stones.
• Follow safety guidelines at all times.
