Job summary

CONTINENT FREIGHT CARGO TRANSPORT L L C S O C in Dubai is seeking an experienced Heavy Truck Driver to operate a Scania R500 tractor unit with a flatbed semi-trailer. The role involves container movements from Jebel Ali and flatbed cargo transport across the UAE, with plans to expand into Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries.

The ideal candidate has a UAE heavy truck licence and at least 5 years of UAE driving experience, plus load-securing know-how and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Valid UAE Heavy Truck Driving Licence.
• Minimum 5 years of heavy truck driving experience in the UAE.
• Experience driving tractor units with semi-trailers.
• Previous experience transporting containers from Jebel Ali.
• Knowledge of UAE roads, ports and industrial areas.
• Flatbed cargo and load-securing experience.
• Clean driving record.
• GCC or Saudi Arabia driving experience is an advantage.
• Must currently be located in the UAE.
• Must be available to join soon.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the tractor unit and flatbed semi-trailer within the UAE
• Transport containers from Jebel Ali and other ports yards and customer locations
• Transport general flatbed cargo and properly secure the load
• Check the truck and trailer before and after every trip
• Immediately report any mechanical issue damage or warning indication
• Maintain the truck trailer and cabin in clean and good condition
• Follow UAE traffic regulations truck routes port procedures and customer instructions
• Handle delivery notes container documents and other transport paperwork correctly
• Complete deliveries safely and on time
• Work flexible hours depending on port appointments loading schedules and customer requirements
• Be available for future trips to Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries

CONTINENT FREIGHT CARGO TRANSPORT L L C S O C is looking for an experienced and responsible Heavy Truck Driver for permanent employment in Dubai The driver will operate a Scania R500 tractor unit with a new flatbed semi-trailer equipped with container twist locks The work will initially be within the UAE mainly involving container movements from Jebel Ali and transportation of flatbed cargo throughout the Emirates After the initial operating period the company plans to expand operations to Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries

Salary and benefits

• Fixed monthly salary starting from AED 3,500.
• Additional payment for each completed trip.
• Additional mileage bonus.
• Higher separate bonuses for Saudi Arabia and GCC trips.
• Total monthly income may reach AED 6,000 or more, depending on the number and type of trips.
• Fuel, truck maintenance, repairs and insurance are paid by the company;
