Abroad Work in Umm-al-Qaiwain, UAE, is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join the team. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of carpentry experience and is willing to work on diverse projects. Salary offered is 1300 AED per month, with openness to considering an immigrant for this role.

Responsibilities include constructing cabinets and fixtures, reading technical plans, operating power tools, and installing windows, doors, and furniture as requested by clients.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of carpentry experience.
• Ability to read technical plans and drawings accurately.
• Knowledge of machinery operation & maintenance.
• Ability to use power tools safely.
• Good physical condition & ability to lift heavy objects.
• Woodworking certificate is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Construct, repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, stairs and other wooden fixtures used in buildings.
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using a ruler, pencil or chalk line.
• Cut materials to size indicated by drawings or templates using handsaws, power saws or chisels.
• Shape materials to specified measurements using planes, chisels and gouges.
• Assemble cut & shaped materials and fix them together with nails, screws or glue.
• Check accuracy of structures assembled with spirit levels or other precision instruments.
• Fill cracks and imperfections with putty or wood filler.
• Install windows, doors and furniture items as requested by customers.
