First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) seeks an Executive Director, Digital Investment Solutions to lead the comprehensive digital transformation of the investment business.

You will define and execute the digital product strategy and multi-year roadmap across all client segments, bridging Investments, Wealth Management, Technology, Operations, Risk and Compliance to deliver scalable, client-centric, compliant solutions.

Competenze

• 12–15 years of experience in Wealth Management, Private Banking, Investments, Digital Product Management or Digital Transformation.
• Experience delivering large-scale business transformation initiatives.

JOB SUMMARY

To lead the digital transformation of the Bank's investment business by converting investment products, services and client journeys into scalable, end-to-end digital experiences across all client segments while driving business growth, operational efficiency and superior client experience.

• The Executive Director, Digital Investment Solutions) will be responsible for defining and executing the digital investment product strategy across all client segments, ensuring that investment products and services are delivered seamlessly through digital channels while maintaining regulatory, operational and client experience standards.


• The role holder will act as the bridge between Investments, Wealth Management, Business, Technology, Operations, Digital, Risk and Compliance teams to understand existing investment product processes, identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and develop a multi-year roadmap for the digitization of investment products and investment journeys.


• The individual will own the end-to-end transformation agenda covering mutual funds, equities, ETFs, fixed income, structured products, derivatives, FX, advisory solutions and other investment offerings, with the objective of enabling clients to discover, onboard, transact, monitor and service investments digitally.


• The role requires a strong combination of product expertise, digital transformation experience, process engineering capability and stakeholder management skills to deliver scalable, client-centric and commercially viable digital investment solutions across the Bank.
  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own the vision, strategy and execution roadmap for the digital wealth and investment platform, enabling clients to seamlessly discover, invest in, monitor and service investment products through digital channels.


• Lead the end-to-end transformation of investment product journeys by assessing existing processes, identifying operational bottlenecks, and implementing scalable, client-centric digital solutions that improve efficiency, control and client experience.


• Drive the digitalization of the Bank's investment product universe, including mutual funds, equities, ETFs, fixed income, derivatives, structured products, FX solutions, advisory services and other wealth management offerings.


• Act as the business owner for digital investment platforms and capabilities, translating business requirements into executable initiatives and partnering with Technology, Operations, Digital, Risk and Compliance teams to ensure successful delivery.


• Establish target operating models, governance frameworks and product controls that support regulatory compliance, operational resilience and consistent client outcomes across all digital investment journeys.


• Collaborate with product specialists, sales teams, relationship managers and investment teams to ensure digital capabilities accurately reflect product features, suitability requirements and client servicing needs.


• Monitor digital adoption, client engagement, revenue contribution and operational metrics, continuously enhancing platform functionality and user experience to support business growth and client satisfaction.


• Evaluate emerging technologies, industry trends and evolving client behaviors, incorporating innovation, automation and artificial intelligence capabilities into the Bank's digital wealth and investment offering.
  

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 12-15 years of experience in Wealth Management, Private Banking, Investments, Digital Product Management or Digital Transformation, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale business transformation initiatives.


• Strong understanding of investment products and wealth management solutions including mutual funds, equities, ETFs, fixed income, structured products, FX, derivatives and advisory solutions.


• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing digital customer journeys, product platforms and operating models within banking, wealth management or investment services environments.


• Proven ability to analyse complex business processes, identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and implement technology-enabled solutions that enhance client experience and operational effectiveness.


• Strong knowledge of digital product development methodologies, business requirements gathering, process automation, data analytics and stakeholder management across business and technology functions.


• Excellent leadership, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across front office, operations, technology, risk, compliance and senior management teams.


• Strategic thinker with a strong commercial mindset, capable of balancing business growth objectives, client needs, regulatory requirements and operational considerations when developing digital investment propositions.


• Self-driven professional with a strong execution focus, capable of managing multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously and delivering outcomes in a fast-paced and evolving environment.


• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or a related field.


• Fluent in English, Arabic and other languages are highly appreciated.
