Job Description

The Executive Director will play a crucial role in originating and managing client relationships, implementing business strategies, and driving revenue growth. They will work closely with product teams and stakeholders to maximize business opportunities and ensure effective execution of deals.

Responsibilities
  • Originate and develop Central Banks and Supranationals client portfolios, up-tier existing relationships, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Implement business strategies, cross-sell Investment Banking and Markets products, and collaborate with product groups to achieve financial targets.
  • Manage and lead a team, set objectives, and motivate employees to maximize departmental performance.
  • Ensure effective cascading of functional strategies, develop business plans, and increase the bank's share of target clients' wallet.
  • Maintain close interaction with product teams and stakeholders to streamline execution and maximize business opportunities.
  • Participate in financial analysis of clients and markets to identify risks and potential opportunities.
  • Originate new business across banking products, develop term sheets, and negotiate deals.
  • Maintain credit quality, achieve financial performance targets, and develop cross-selling opportunities with key clients.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, processes, and procedures, and adhere to regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in day-to-day administrative and transactional activities, and manage KYC and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 12+ years of experience in banking, with a focus on Central Banks, Supranationals, and Official Institutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Global Markets, Corporate Finance, and Transaction Banking products.
  • Understanding of credit insurance and structuring, and knowledge of the industry and senior-level relationships.
  • Sound understanding of regulatory environments and ability to prepare plans and strategies.
  • Experience handling large Official Institutions and Financial Institutions accounts.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with good interpersonal skills and motivation.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively.
  • Arabic language skills are preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of successful team development.
