Job Title: Executive Director

Our client is a renowned leader in a federal entity in Dubai.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Policy and Procedure Development
    • Propose systems and procedures that contribute to improving and developing the performance of the subordinate departments.
    • Submit periodic reports on these proposals to the Director General.
  2. Legislation and Regulatory Proposals
    • Propose draft laws, decrees, regulations, and decisions related to the organizational units.
    • Present them to the Director General for the necessary action.
  3. Operations Oversight
    • Provide overall supervision of operations and processes across the subordinate.
    • Ensure full compliance with approved systems, regulations, and policies.
  4. Organizational Leadership
    • Oversee the performance of the organizational units under supervision.
    • Empower departments through structured work plans and key programs, and monitor performance outcomes and deliverables.
  5. Human Resources Supervision
    • Supervise the performance of employees across the subordinate departments.
    • Monitor HR programs related to performance evaluation, development, motivation, and employee engagement.
  6. Strategic Planning Contribution
    • Participate in the development of organizational policies and strategic planning within the supervised sector.
    • Follow up on the implementation of strategies after their approval.
    • Take part in formulating the organization’s overall strategy and key objectives.
    • Translate them into specific goals, policies, initiatives, and operational plans for the sector.
  7. HR Decision-Making Support
    • Provide recommendations to senior management regarding HR decisions for the department.

  11. Program and Project Oversight
    • Follow up on the progress of detailed plans, programs, and projects executed by the department.
    • Ensure full compliance with applicable systems, policies, and procedures.
To qualify for this role, you must have
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in public sector leadership, or a similar regulatory environment.
  • At least 5 years in a senior leadership or executive management role overseeing multiple departments or large-scale initiatives.
  • Experience in managing a regulatory operation with approval/disapproval processes and compliance risk.
