Job summary

Work standard is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator in Abu Dhabi to join our construction team. You will operate excavators to prepare trenches, footings, and foundations for various projects, ensuring safety and efficiency on site.

This full-time role requires adherence to site protocols and the ability to take direction from supervisors and foremen. The ideal candidate has prior heavy equipment experience, a valid license (preferred), and familiarity with the local road network.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment on active construction sites.
• Knowledge of safety protocols while on the job site.
• Excellent communication skills with supervisors and team members.
• Ability to follow instructions carefully and work under direction.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Familiarity with local road network preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate an excavator to dig trenches, footings and foundations.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Transport materials between job sites as needed.
• Inspect excavator before use and report issues.
• Load and unload materials from the excavator.
• Follow directions from supervisors and foremen.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
