Job summary

People Hive HR Consultancies LLC is seeking an experienced EWIS Engineer to lead the design, integration and certification support of Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS) for an eVTOL aircraft, on-site in Dubai, UAE.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in EWIS design or wiring harness engineering, strong knowledge of EWIS regs (14 CFR/CS 25.1701–1731, AC 25.1701-1, SAE ARP5412) and proficiency with electrical CAD tools. English communication must be very good.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of EWIS design or wiring interconnection experience.
• Strong knowledge of EWIS regulations and industry standards (14 CFR/CS 25.1701–1731, AC 25.1701-1, SAE ARP5412).
• Very good English communication skills.

Job Description:

People Hive is supporting a client in the search for an experienced EWIS Engineer to lead the design, integration and certification support of Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS) for an electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.

The successful candidate will ensure safe, reliable power and signal distribution throughout the aircraft, meeting applicable aerospace wiring standards and certification requirements, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams from design through integration and flight testing.

Critical Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in EWIS design, wiring harness engineering or electrical interconnection systems
• Strong knowledge of EWIS regulations and industry standards, including 14 CFR/CS 25.1701–1731, AC 25.1701-1 and SAE ARP5412
• Very good English communication skills

Important Requirements

• Experience with electrical CAD tools such as Zuken E3, Capital or CATIA Electrical
• Knowledge of wire and connector selection, crimping, shielding, bonding and grounding practices
• Experience with System Safety Assessments, Failure Hazard Analysis and certification or test plans
• Familiarity with aircraft electrical power systems and avionics integration
• Experience supporting harness fabrication, installation and testing

Nice to Have

• Aerospace or other safety-critical industry experience
