About the Role

As Events Manager, under the guidance and supervision of the Senior Events Manager, you will handle all aspects of negotiation and coordination process of catering events. You will execute and support all catering sales-related activities as well as maximizing revenue opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, organization, and execution of all local events, ensuring alignment with the companys standards and objectives.
  • Oversee the entire event cycle, from initial inquiry through to post-event evaluation, ensuring efficiency and high-quality outcomes.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to achieve cost efficiencies while maintaining service excellence.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners, including catering, décor, and audiovisual providers, to deliver seamless events.
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost savings without compromising guest experience.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and motivation to the events team, ensuring performance targets and revenue goals are achieved.
  • Monitor guest feedback and proactively implement measures to continuously enhance service delivery.
  • Uphold the brands commitment to excellence by ensuring every event reflects the companys values and quality standard
About You
  • Minimum of one year of experience in an equivalent role within a 5-star hotel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English; knowledge of the local language is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to take decisive corrective action under pressure.
  • Proven organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple events simultaneously to the highest standard.
