Job summary

NTU International is preparing a proposal for a project on communication outreach and engagement on EU policies in North Africa, the Middle East and the Gulf. A pool of qualified Non-Key Experts (Senior and Junior) will be mobilised on a short-term, on-demand basis during project implementation (36 months).

The Senior Non-Key Expert - Events Manager will support planning, delivery and logistical coordination of high-profile conferences, seminars and public outreach activities for DG MENA,

Qualifications

• University degree (or equivalent professional experience) in event management, communication or hospitality.
• French and/or Arabic an asset.
• 5 years' general experience in event organisation and logistics.
• 3 years' specific experience managing institutional/communication events.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver conferences, seminars, workshops, press events and public outreach activities.
• Manage all logistical aspects of institutional events, including venue coordination, participant registration and supplier liaison.
• Coordinate event schedules, speakers, moderators and technical service providers.
• Support protocol arrangements and participation of high-level EU officials, partner institutions and external stakeholders.
• Supervise on-site event implementation and ensure smooth delivery.
• Coordinate event-related communication materials and participant information.
• Support post-event reporting, evaluations and lessons learned.
• Work closely with communication teams, service providers and DG MENA to ensure successful event implementation.

NTU International is preparing a proposal for the project “Communication outreach and engagement on EU policies in North Africa, the Middle East and the Gulf”.

In this context, NTU International is establishing a pool of qualified Non-Key Experts (Senior and Junior) to be mobilised on a short-term, on-demand basis during project implementation (36 months).

The overall objective of this assignment is to provide strategic, technical and logistical communication support to DG MENA in the planning, development and implementation of its day-to-day communication activities, with the aim of strengthening the visibility, outreach and impact of the European Union's policies, initiatives and partnerships across the Middle East, North Africa and the Gulf region.

Senior Non-Key Expert - Events Manager

Responsibilities
