Job summary

Strato Creations LLC in Dubai is seeking a Senior Estimation Engineer to lead the preparation of accurate and competitive cost estimates for interior fit-out and turnkey projects on-site in the UAE. You will review drawings, perform quantity take-offs, obtain quotations, and develop detailed BOQs and tender documents.

You will analyze risks, explore value engineering options, and support pricing strategies while coordinating with design, procurement, and project teams.

Qualifications

• Strong estimation and cost engineering skills, including quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, and tender pricing for interior fit-out projects.
• Solid technical understanding of interior fit-out materials and methods, including joinery, finishes, MEP interfaces, and turnkey fit-out processes.
• Proficiency in Excel, estimation software, and CAD or design tools used for reviewing drawings and project details.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and value engineering skills to optimize costs while maintaining design and quality standards.
• Effective communication and coordination skills with clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal project teams.
• Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tenders and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or related field; substantial UAE interior fit-out estimation experience.
• Experience with local building regulations, industry standards, and Dubai/UAE market rates is highly beneficial.

Role Description

This full-time, on-site role in Dubai, United Arab Emirates involves reviewing drawings and specifications, conducting quantity take-offs, and obtaining material and subcontractor quotations. The individual will analyze project risks and value engineering options, prepare detailed BOQs and tender documents, and support pricing strategies for bids. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with design, procurement, and project teams, clarifying technical queries with consultants and clients, and updating cost databases and estimation standards. The role also requires monitoring market rates, supporting contract negotiations, and contributing to project budgeting and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
