Job summary

Flip retail is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for its Dubai workshop to handle estimation, design, and site measurements. The role requires independent work from concept through to delivery, using AutoCAD or similar CAD tools to produce drawings and costed plans.

A strong background in estimation, costing, and client communication is essential. Permanent, long-term position with monthly salary in the AED 6,000–8,000 range.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in estimation and mechanical design.
• Ability to approximate jobs including materials, labour and costs.
• Proficient in taking site measurements and generating drawings.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical components and workshop layouts.
• Prepare cost estimates and quotes for clients.
• Coordinate from material stage to shipment, using available equipment and workforce.
• Conduct site visits and produce drawings as per client requirements.
• Manage projects with minimal supervision and meet client deadlines.
