Job summary

Black Pearl Consult in Dubai partners with a leading engineering firm to recruit a dynamic Sustainability Strategy Lead to drive their ESG agenda and champion long-term environmental impact.

You will own decarbonization programs, lead end-to-end ESG reporting, manage ratings and certifications, and engage senior stakeholders across functions to accelerate sustainable growth and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 4 years of sustainability experience blending strategy-consulting and corporate roles.
• Proven track record designing and implementing corporate sustainability and decarbonization strategies.
• Hands-on expertise with end-to-end sustainability reporting and materiality assessments.
• Experience managing ESG ratings/certifications and enhancing disclosure quality.
• Strong program-management skills and the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
• Bachelor's in Engineering Environmental Science Business (Master's preferred).

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the corporate sustainability strategy including decarbonization, climate adaptation, circular economy and more.
• Lead the full sustainability reporting cycle (data collection, materiality assessments, stakeholder engagement, assurance).
• Manage and improve ESG ratings, certifications and disclosures (MSCI ESG, Sustainalytics, EcoVadis, etc.).
• Oversee multi-year cross-functional initiatives (renewable energy integration, energy & water efficiency, sustainable procurement, waste reduction, employee engagement).
• Leverage digital ESG tracking and analytics tools to drive performance improvements.
