Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an Equity Research / Investment Banking Analyst in Dubai to join our analytics team. You will conduct detailed equity and company research, analyze financial statements, and build valuation and forecasting models to support investment decisions.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of relevant experience in equity research or investment banking, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and the ability to present insights clearly to internal and client stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in Equity Research, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, or related field.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and financial analysis.
• Hands-on experience with financial modelling and valuation.
• Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Excellent analytical and research capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Candidates with experience in Investment Banking or Equity Research firms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct equity and company research, including industry and market analysis.
• Analyse financial statements, company performance, and key financial metrics.
• Prepare and maintain financial models, forecasts, and valuation models.
• Support equity valuation using DCF, comparable companies and other relevant methodologies.
• Prepare investment research reports, presentations and financial analysis for internal and client use.
• Track market developments, economic trends, industry news and company announcements.
• Assist with investment banking / corporate finance transactions and related analysis.
• Perform company and sector screening to identify potential investment opportunities.
• Support senior team members with research, due diligence and preparation of investor materials.
