Job summary

GebX Technology Solutions is seeking a Senior GIS Consultant to lead ArcGIS Enterprise projects, design Survey123 surveys, and deliver high‑quality GIS solutions for clients in Abu Dhabi and the region.

You will manage GIS databases, perform spatial analysis, train clients and team members, and stay current with GIS technologies such as ArcGIS Online, QGIS, and Python, with flexible remote work options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years GIS consulting experience focusing on Survey123 and ArcGIS Enterprise.
• Proven track record delivering GIS solutions and managing complex projects.
• Strong proficiency in Survey123 and data collection and integration.
• Deep knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise installation, configuration and administration.
• Excellent problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with ArcGIS Online, QGIS, Python, SQL is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

About this Role:

Job Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior GIS Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Survey123 and the implementation of ArcGIS Enterprise. As a Senior GIS Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality GIS solutions to our clients, ensuring successful project outcomes, and contributing to the growth of our GIS capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of GIS projects using ArcGIS Enterprise.
• Utilize Survey123 to create and manage custom surveys, collect and analyze spatial data, and integrate results into broader GIS solutions.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, provide expert advice, and develop tailored GIS solutions that meet their business objectives.
• Manage and maintain GIS databases, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and security.
• Conduct spatial analysis and modeling to support decision-making processes for various projects.
• Provide training and support to clients and team members on the use of GIS tools and applications.
• Stay current with the latest GIS technologies, trends, and best practices to ensure our solutions are cutting-edge and effective.
• Participate in business development activities, including proposal writing, client presentations, and project scoping.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in GIS consulting, with a focus on Survey123 and ArcGIS Enterprise.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing GIS solutions and managing complex projects.
• Strong proficiency in Survey123, including survey design, data collection, and integration with other GIS applications.
• In-depth knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise, including installation, configuration, and administration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
• Experience with other GIS tools and technologies (e.g., ArcGIS Online, QGIS, Python, SQL) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
