The Boring Company is seeking an EHS Lead to join our tunneling operations in Dubai. You will embed with field teams to drive safety culture, ensure compliance with OSHA-like standards, and continuously improve health, safety, and environmental outcomes in underground environments.

You will conduct JHAs, risk assessments, and inspections, lead investigations, manage training records, and collaborate with superintendents and technicians to mitigate job-specific risks on TBM projects.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of experience in construction or heavy industrial EHS roles - tunneling, mining, or oil & gas preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA, MSHA (preferred), confined space, LOTO, and respiratory protection standards.
• Experience conducting field audits and writing JHAs, incident reports, and environmental compliance documentation.
• Comfortable working in underground environments and around heavy equipment.
• CSP, CHST, or equivalent certification is a plus.

The Boring Company was founded to solve the problem of soul-destroying traffic by creating an underground network of tunnels. Today, we are creating the technology to increase tunneling speed and decrease costs by a factor of 10 or more with the ultimate goal of making Hyperloop adoption viable and enabling rapid transit across densely populated regions.

We’re looking for an EHS Lead who can keep up with the pace of tunneling operations and proactively manage risk in a high-pressure, underground environment. This role supports a TBM project and requires a sharp, field-first safety mindset. You’ll be embedded with operations teams to ensure compliance, drive safe behaviors, and continuously improve health, safety, and environmental outcomes.
